RED BULL MUSIC ACADEMY.
So last Friday Brainer was invited to have a look around Red Bull Music Academy's new London digs. The building is just a stones throw away from London Bridge, and it's pretty impressive; there's a long, thin bar/lounge area on the ground floor surrounded by vast glass windows (so people can peer in and admire no doubt), and two floors of office space, kitchens, studios and a lecture room. Not to mention a basement to boot.

SKEPTIKAL.
So this is the homie The Last Skeptik. Skeptik is a London based producer and deejay who has been a staple of the UK hip-hop scene for quite some time now. He's worked with the likes of Jehst, Sway and Kyza, and as a DJ, the guy has shared the stage with people like Damon Albarn, Zero 7 and Kano. Pretty good going huh?

Gorillaz drop their new album on March 8th. New album, new pad, too.
Check out their new head quarters - a monstrous Tracy Island-style HQ perched on top of a floating pile of rubbish at Point Nemo in the South Pacific. Which also happens to be the point furthest away from land on Earth.

DEFINITIVE JUX IN CONTINUOUS FLUX.
I grew up listening to the records that independent hip-hop label Definitive Jux put out. The New York label, without doubt, helped shape and broaden my musical tastes to encompass more gritty, discordant sounds. BRIGHT LIGHTS BIG CITY.
After my built like a tank Canon EOS 350D conked out a while back, I decided to recently buy a Canon Powershot S90.
I was originally gunning for another DSLR, but I'm not gonna lie. There's no way I'd carry it around with me everywhere. So the S90 was the perfect solution; a super compact yet fully manual camera that slips into my pocket with zero effort.
